Surgeon Testimonial Philippe Quilici, M.D. I had my first appointment on 9/24/08.The wait was long but I was quite impressed with how the whole appointment went. We had a very small group meeting with Julie prior to seeing Dr. Quilici. Julie explained, very well, the various surgery options and the whole process before and after the surgery as well as the various risks. She was patient, and answered all sorts of questions. I thought I had done my research before getting there but had some surprises. She answered so much that once I got to the doctor I was out of questions. I liked Dr. Quilici. He comes highly recommended. He is very too the point and is not a big talker. He will give you his honest opinion. It will be short and to the point. I was sort of concerned after reading the various posts concerning him. I , however, found him kind, caring but once again very short. I feel very confident with his skill and I am anxiously looking forward to getting this show on the road. Because of my age I need to see a cardiologist and a gastroenterologist prior to getting a surgery date. Those things will be accomplished this week. I am hoping that I will be able to have my surgery by the end of the month. New patients will also have to get a psych eval and attend a support meeting. I have both of those accomplished. The office seems very well run but it does seem difficult to get the office to return a call. I feel very comfortable in the hands of this surgeon. Member Interests
