Surgeon TestimonialWilliam S. PetersI have my initial appt set up. This is after talking to him for over one hour on the phone. He contacted me through this site to offer to answer any questions, this was without any pressure to use him as a surgeon. I am a Pediatrician and found him to be down to earth and easy to talk too long before he knew I was in the medical profession.
He is even better in person. Described surgery and complications very clearly. Sent me home to research RY vs DS. Eagerly awaiting 2nd visit. Robbie had all the information that was faxed to her ready for the visit.
Safely through the surgery. I couldn't have asked for a more skilled and caring physician
during this whole process.

August 2003
August 19-I have a confession to make.
I am a shopaholic. I love to shop, I plan trips to shop. My children are trying to wean me away from shopping. The ingrates won't even do back to school shopping with me. They tell me they have enough clothes- how can that be possible. They inform me that my dresser is full, my closet is full, my new armoire is full. Perhaps they fear I am starting to eye their closets next. Of course I want to shop. I am at goal. My weight does not fluctuate more than 5 lbs for the last six months. For once in my life I can fit in regular sizes at any store. Just because it fits does not mean I should wear it-some of today's hot fashion looks are just plain silly looking on me. I do not want to run around with my underwear showing. I do not want the cleavage from behind to show- after reaching goal there is no cleavage in the front left-do not want to confuse the hubby which end is which. Do not want my skirts to my ankles I have not joined an Amish order, nor do I want them so short I look like I am working Hollywood and Vine. I love that I can own so many pairs of pants- rather than 3 pairs of black stretch stirrup from Lane Bryant. I think I need the serenity prayer for shoppers- God grant me the serenity to pass the 70-90% summer clearance, turn my eyes from the shorts and capris. Lead me not into Old Navy, for I have 3 pairs already.
