Hey there everyone! I will be 5 yrs 'post' RNY in a few weeks and I dont regret it for a moment! I have maintained my weight between about 154-160 lbs... My sister and I had it together, unfortunately, she has gained quite a bit of weight back! 
which makes me sad, you see... she is the reason why I decided to do it myself. She was very ill due to her obesity and if it wouldn't have been for the surgery, she would no longer be with us... but, it's a very "personal" decision to maintain or not... right? My twin sister had surgery a year after we did...and she's doing great! I am very proud of the three of us regardless... My daughter had the lapband surgery a year ago, and although the weightloss is quite a bit slower, she looks terrific and is planning on having a TT this summer.
