Thomas R Brown I actually went into the Dr.'s office to support my younger sister. She was having hormonal problems, after many months of having medical problems, the only link that any of ALL the many Dr.'s she went to with the goal of identifying her "problem" and in search of a solution, she and I requested and studied all of her physicians notes. The only "common link" to her problem was that she was "morbidly obese". I did WLS research, obtained a Dr.'s name, scheduled a visit and went in to meet the Dr.
Dr. Browns secretary (at the time - Mary) was very helpful. My sister and I did all of the "pre-op" stuff we had to do and ended up having surgery 1 day apart. Dr. Browns office would receive a D- in the "follow-up" Depart. It took weeks and weeks of dumping and just getting sicker and sicker (never asked me to come in despite the many calls made to his office) he never asked that I come in for an apt to see him. Staff asked I come in (once) and see a med. assistant?? Who was "nice" enough, just could never "get it right" consequently, my sister did great... and I went into congenital heart failure a few months later.
