After attending 3 different seminar's with 3 different surgeon's.. I've decided on Dr. Rowitz.. I like him right away.. he seems down to earth and most importantly, he seems approachable. 10/26/06... Had my consultation with Dr R. everything went EXTREMELY well and I'm scheduled for surgery for 11/27/06 ... I joined a local support group and some of the women in the group went to Dr R... they had nothing but nice things to say about him... Which puts me at ease!!

Good luck with your surgery and more so your recovery. Sounds like you have a bunch of local friends and supporters. I'm sure you'll do great. OH.com is also a great place to get questions answered by those that have been there or are going thru it at the same time. It has been a huge help and support for me.

I never seem to get on here anymore... Just out living life !! I'm down " 115 " pounds!! I feel GREAT!

Haven't written in a LONG TIME! I'm down " 110 " .. it's still SLOWLY and I do mean SLOWLY coming off... I feel great... going camping or boating almost every weekend with my husband... Just loving life!

It's been a while....

Well it's been a while since I've last updated... I'm down " 105 " ... I want to drop another 35 and I should be all set... I love going clothes shopping that's for sure!!! I'm no longer obese.. I'm "over weight " .. .how cool is THAT!

Christmas and New Years flew by... I was able to keep up with everyone.. didn't tire out..Anyway.. until next time... :)

Double WOW moment!!

Well I did it.. I hit the 100 pound mark!!! And.. slipped into ONEderland all at the same time!!! I never thought this day would come!!! I'm recovering nicely from my hysterectomy... I have a few weeks off from work.. so I'm enjoying the hell outta that!! Kicking back and shopping... I'm feeling great!! No more ovary pain... and no more feeling like I'm always swolen on the inside!! ANYWAY... Just wanted to post an up date...
