    Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

Pre-Op visit done

Ok my weight was fine I was 7.5 pounds heavier from when I originally weighed in 1 year and 3 months ago.  My surgeons office said a 5 to 10 pound weight gain is okay and that my surgeon is just making sure that people getting the surgery are not using it as a free pass to gain 50 pounds or more.

Pre-Op visit was still a little scary seemed like one of the main points was to review every possible bad thing that could happen and then have me sign a consent form for the surgery stating I am aware of all the risks and that I am still voluntarily requesting the surgery.

Also some review of what to expect which was good, a short video, some reading review, and then my surgeon made sure I did not have any questions.

Then I met with anesthesiology and reviewed health background got a brief summary of what to expect at surgery, this was not scary at all.

So Surgery is a go for Monday, Sept 17th!
