Brian Gluck, D.O. Dr. Brian Gluck's program is far better than most i've researched or have heard about. He has everything in place with aftercare, Nutrionist, exercising, support groups etc. He is in the Center of Excellence. He has an attitude of compassion and cares about how his patients are doing. I would recommend him for this surgery to anyone looking for a surgeon, his program covers everything for you.
His staff is informative and well trained.
I was not so impressed with my stay in the hospital.
Congratulations on
your surgery TODAY!
I regret not getting
here in time to wish
you well before you
had to be off, but I
pray everything went
well and you are now
recovering
comfortably. I
wanted you to know
that I am praying
for you. I pray
that God will bless
you with a smooth
and
complication-free
recovery followed by
a life time of
improved health and
long term weight
loss. May your
post-op journey be
filled with wow
moments and
supportive people to
light up your way!
When you get home
remember to sip,
sip, sip and get up
and moving as best
you can (it'll make
a big difference in
how you feel and how
quickly you can
recover). WELCOME
TO THE LOSER'S
BENCH!
Wednesday is your
day! Just remember
you are on the
journey of a
lifetime. Try to
enjoy every minute.
It may sound weird
now, but know that
you are cared for
and prayed for here,
and all too soon
this will be but a
memory and you will
be an inspiration to
someone else. I am
waiting for you on
the losers' bench!
Where August go? I am a full time student and have a part time job. I do kick-boxing 3 days a week. I am having the time of my life. I am on a month break from school, fall classes dont start till Sept. 29.
I am down 116 lbs. Still have 20-25 to go. It all depends on where I feel comfortable, thats where I will maintain. My Dr. suggested 150, but I have no clue, we see when I get there.
I hope everyone is feeling the fabulousness that I am. I still have some issues, but life is sweet!!!! Luv you all!
I will put new picture up. I could do one of those 100 lbs loss pictures up in the before and after.......How do we do that? Anyone know?
To date I have lost 103 lbs. Still working out 4 days a week. I am enrolled in a local College full time, in the Culinary Arts program. I go to the beach 3 days a week and am looking for a part time job. So needless to say I stay very busy. I am loving life and enjoying every minute of it.
I still have 40 lbs to go to meet my Dr.'s suggest goal weight of 150-ish. I have not determined for myself exactly what weight I feel comfortable at, guess I will figured that out when I get there. I am certainly glad I have made the choices I have to date! My confidence in being in school at my age is thru the roof.....which is a GOOD thing. First up was a Oral Communication class, (speechs in from of the class).......I would have never done it before, now it almost seems fun........hehe, get back to ya on that.
As of May 14th I am 6 months out and down -95 lbs. Still amazed! I will add a new picture this weekend, I have changed a little bit since last picture.
I look at myself sometimes and wonder who that is? Not sure how stinkin cool that is....yet .....
CHANGE IS ESSTENIAL FOR LIFE....
BE WILLING TO SURRENDER WHO YOU ARE FOR WHAT YOU COULD BECOME
I am over 50 years old. I start out here at 280 lbs. 5'0'', sooo pretty much as wide as I am tall. (for now) Married for 25 years to the love of my life, 2 great kids and 2 grandkids.Been heavy all my life, tried every diet that exsists. Lost alot of weight, only to it back again,....plus! You know the drill. Looked into bariatric surgery back in 2003, thought it was not for me, . Well I gave it the ole college try for a few more years, and learned I couldnt do it by myself ......NOT WORKING FOR ME. I needed the tools that this procedure could give me; .........major being the most effective of all! I found that I was still teachable and OMG..I don't know everything after all My health was in dangerous mode: type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, chronic arthritis pain, 2 knee surgeries, 2 back surgeries, high cholesterol, fatigue and depression just to name a few. So finding my surgeon and his program was a real GOD thing! I will survive!
