Thursday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

My Story

Hello, my name is Marti, I am 35 years old. I have a 17-year-old daughter, Miranda. I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. In high school I was about 20 pounds overweight. Although I was not "obese," my weight was
something that was always on my mind. It wasn't until my early twenties when I really started packin' on the
pounds! And ever since then I have gone up and down with my weight like crazy! I would lose 80 lbs, then gain
80 lbs, you know the story. Yet I was never able to reach my goal weight. I feel so blessed to have found
Barix Clinics, and I know I will reach my goal weight with this surgery. Thank You God! My surgery date is 11-15-07!
