Surgeon Testimonial

Toby Broussard, M.D.
My impression of him so far is he's a hands on kind of doctor. He is the one who calls and e-mails me. I haven't even spoken to his staff so far. He takes his time when talking with me and has made sure I know all of the changes I'll be making and he emphasizes aftercare.

Had the surgery on June 18, 2008.  It went well.  Now I'm loosing weight at a steady pace and loving it.  It helps to get out and move if you want to really keep it off and the scale to move too.

My Story

My story is like many others, when I was in high school I was a thin cheerleader and in every sport I could be in.  Very active and ate everything I wanted to.  THEN IT HAPPENED!  I graduated!  Then my weight started to become an issue.  I was used to eating lots of food and never had to worry about it.  Now, it's a different story.  After my two sons were born I even gained more weight.  For the last 8+ years I've struggled. The surgery I'm having is the Vertical Sleeve because I feel it fits my lifestyle the best.
