Hi, I had Lap RNY on Nov 19 2007. I developed a Stricture a few weeks out. I had to live with it over the Christmas Holidays. I got it fixed on jan 02 2008. I never developed another one. It took me about 6 months to be able to eat solid food. I have gained a few pounds then lost it over my journey. I've experienced bad stomach pains from Feb 2008 until Nov 2008. My Surgeon has been wonderful and done everything I have sked and helped me so much! This weight loss journey has been AMAZING! I have enjoyed the ups and downs! I have also learned so much! I am now researching Plastic Surgeons. So exciting! I HIGHLY reccomend WLS!!!!! I am here for all of you! I LOVE MY WLS!!!! :) :)

Peterson's Hernia?

on aug 21 i went for my PATTS test at HRRH. On aug 31 i had Laparoscopy surgery at HRRH with my WLS:Dr.Hagen. It was at 11:30 a.m. I woke up at 1:05 p.m. I want to thank all the nurses and Dr.Hagen's staff. they were all so caring and looked after me so well. I have for incisions. Dr.Hagen Said he stitched up a small hole inside of me. I do have an appointment with him later this month and will get answers out of him. I believe and so does an good friend he did a Peterson's Hernia repair on me. I have had all the symptoms for the past 6 months. Went to two walk in clinics,took prevasaid,blood test,urine test,ultra sound,hida scan,endescopy,seen my WLS many times....now I just had the Laparoscopy done. He says i have I.B.S. and I am taking Dicetel.I do not believe I have I.B.S. Who know's what is going on.....

i have had every complication andmore from my panni surgery. i have gained at least 22 pounds from my lowest. i do wish i never had the panni surgery. i tried to join a gym last week. nope,no can do. the muscle and nerve damage in my legs from the panni surgery will not allow me. so here i go to gaining back all my weight. wonderful. my stomach is so screwed up too. good luck to everyone....

Panni Surgery & NKOTB!

I seen my PS again on Feb 12th. I have been put on the waiting list for my Panni. He also said I don't need to loose anymore weight and that I am not fat. To hear those words...... I never though I would. I also got a 5* ticket to see NKOTB in concert, which means I will be meeting them

. Life is good!

MY UPDATE FOR DEC 14 2009.

WELL I WENT TO SEE MY HERO TODAY. HE WAS SO SHOCKED WHEN HE SEEN ME. HE HAD THIS HUGE SMILE ON AND SHOCKED BUT HAPPY LOOK! FIRST THING THAT CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH WAS THAT I LOOK SO SKINNY!

HE SAID I WAS A BIG SUCESS. I HAVE DONE VERY WELL. HE IS SO PROUD OF ME. HE SAID THIS IS WHEN WL PATIENTS START TO REGAIN AND EVEN THOUGH I HAVE GAINED 10 POUNDS, I HAVE STILL DONE VERY WELL AND STILL A SUCCESS. HE GAVE ME SO MANY COMPLIMENTS!

HE SAID I LOOK GOOD AND SKINNY AND DON'T NEED TO LOOSE ANYMORE. I TOLD HIM HOW I WAS 10 POUNDS LESS AND I LOOKED AND FELT SICK THEN. HE AGREED WITH ME THAT YOUR BODY KNOWS WHEN IT IS HEALTHY AND WHEN TO STOP LOOSING. I AM STILLING WAITING TO HEAR FROM OHIP ABOUT ANY PLASTIC COVERAGE. I AM USING A PS THAT MY HERO HAS KNOWN MOST OF HIS LIFE. BONUS! SO HOPEFULLY I GET TO HAVE THE 2 BEST SURGEON'S MAKE ME ALL HEALTHY AND PRETTY. DR.HAGEN TOLD ME THAT I CAN COME AND SEE HIM ANYTIME I WANT, WHEN EVER I WANT FOR WHAT EVER I WANT,ECT. HE SAID THAT HE WOULD/WILL DO ANYTHING FOR ME!

I ADORE THIS MAN! I TOLD HIM HOW GRATEFUL/THANKFUL I AM TO HIM,HE IS MY HERO, I ADORE HIM AND HOW GOOD HE IS AND HOW MUCH HE CARES ,ECT. HE BLUSHED AND SMILED AND SAID THANK YOU. I HAVE LOST OVER 70% OF MY WEIGHT. I WEIGH 155. AND I THINK I LOOK THINNER THEN THAT AND FEEL GREAT. I HAVE ENERGY AND DON'T GET TIRED THAT OFTEN,I HAVE COLOR TO MY FACE, I DON;T LOOK OR FEEL SICK,, I LOOK HEALTHY AND FEEL IT. MY ORGANS ARE GREAT BECAUSE I AM NOT UNDER WEIGHT. I DO NOT WISH TO LOOSE ANYMORE WEIGHT. I STILL LOOK YOUNG FOR MY AGE TOO. NOT TO BE MEAN,BUT, I HAVE NOTICED MOST PEOPLE LOOK TIRED,SICK,HAGGERED AND OLDER WHEN THEY LOOSE TOO MUCH WEIGHT. I SLOOK DAMN GOOD!!!

2010 IS ALL ABOUT ME! THAT'S RIGHT! CLEAING UP MY BASEMENT AND CLOSET, PASSPORT,VACATION WEARING A BATHING SUIT AND A PART TIME JOB WITH ANIMALS HERE I COME!!!
