Surgeon Testimonial

Margaret M. Inman M.D.

I chose Dr. Inman to be my surgeon simply because she is the only Medicare approved DS surgeon in Indiana. My initial consultation was on December 4th, 2006, and really liked what I heard. Both Dr. Inman and her staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to answer any questions. rnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrn rnMom & Dadrn rnrn

The need to be touched
on November 30, 2006 10:42 pm
This is just a friendly reminder to make sure your PCP is doing his/her job.  If you aren't being poked about your body, get a new doctor.  Here's why....  My Aunt went to the same doctor for 20+ years.  This past year, she lost about 50 lbs rapidly.  Almost skeletal looking.  So 3 weeks ago my father finally convinced her to go his doctor.  Her first appointment was 16 days ago.  Today, she passed away.  She had Renal clear cell carcinoma.  She had a tumor the size of a grapefruit on her left kidney.  A GRAPEFRUIT!  The new doctor felt it on the first visit, and immediately sent her to an oncologist.  It was too far gone, and surgery wasn't an option.  If her original doctor would have poked on her, he would have found it, and she might still be alive today.
So please, make sure you are being "felt up" !!!

What I wouldn't do for a menthol...

Greetings all.  This is the 3rd day of not having a cigarette.  Ugh!  It hasn't been as hard as I thought, but it IS hard!  I'm doing the Smoke Away thing, but I'm not sure if it's helping or not.  It seems every 5 minutes I'm reminding myself why I've quit, and I think that is what's keeping me from grabbing the lighter.  Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely climbing the walls.  And now I understand why people gain weight when they quit smoking.  I've been eating up a storm!  Keeps me sane I guess.

Holy Crapola!
on November 2, 2006 12:00 am

I have a consultation date!  Woohoo!  December 4th at 1:45pm.  I've waited over 2 years to make that call, and it felt wonderful!  If I was any more excited I'd probably fall down.  They also told me that Dr Inman is now accepting Medicare on a full time basis.  I don't have to do any begging after all :)  Counting months is over.  Now I'm counting the days!
