Much has been made of elevated GLP-1 concentrations after RYGB surgery and this may underlie the B-cells hypertrophy/hyperplasia seen in (nesidioblastosis). The postprandial hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia complication after RYGB occurs within weeks to months postoperatively

I like to search about healt problem eg: dumping + accelerated gastric emptying increase the secretion of GLP-1. Hyperinsulinemic Hypoglycemia, after bariatric surgery, a newly recognized complication, because that underlie the β-cell hypertrophy/hyperplasia
