HIT ANOTHER MILE STONE!
A tad more than 1/3 of the weigh there(pun
intended!)
I WEIGH 250 POUNDS AS OF THIS MORNING. That is 56 pounds lost since surgery and 66 since this time last year! I am looking so forward to Carowinds this year! I hope to ride every roller coaster in the park! If by chance I can't fit into one of them, well, I know I WILL be little enough next year no doubt in my mind!!!!
I wanted to share with my OH cyberfamily something I found.

These are protein cookies, I use to get these when I was doing the Healthy Weigh program. They have 10 grams of protein! Low in sugar and fat and are balanced to help control hunger throughout the day. The awesome lady that sells these is really nice and IF you live nearby she may be willing to meet with you to deliver instead of mailing. This is her ebay ad, if you are interested:

MOVING RIGHT ALONG
on May 20, 2008 11:11 am

TUESDAY May 20, 2008 * 8 weeks out from surgery
down 51 pounds this morning * weight 255 pounds
I can't tell you how happy I am with my RNY.  I finally feel like I have some control over things. It is simply amazing the way this surgery works and the benefits from it. The main reason I have never been able to stick with a diet for very long was hunger. With this, I have to remind myself to eat, I have to make myself get in all my water, vitamins and protein. I am simply amazed, I am 8 weeks out from surgery and down 51 pounds! WOOHOO! I am hoping to be down to 250 by the end of this month or at least by the time we go to Carowinds on June 7th. I hit a long stall earlier this month and I hope that is over with. I realize they will come along, BUT it still drives me crazy!
I am out of MOST of my 3X's, except for those that run really small. I can wear most of my 2X's,, except for those that run really small...lol. I have a pair of jean cut off shorts I am hoping to get into soon, they are a size 20 and way too tight right now, I'll update when I can fit into those....lol...
I am sitting here thinking about the past 8 weeks, I went from 306 to down under 300, that was cool. Then into the 280's, then 270's then 260's then now into the 250's, it is SOOOO FREAKING COOL!
I have had people ask about WOW MOMENTS, so here they are
WOW MOMENTS:
* I was vacumming and my panites fell off! Yep, it happened, I was shocked and stood there giggling!
* To realize I weigh at least 25 pounds LESS than what my driver's license say I do, (I fudged by 36 pounds then, said I weighed 280 when I was 316)...you ladies can relate I am sure, what woman tells the truth with that????
* My pants coming off without unbuttoning or zipping them!
* Sitting in church Wednesday night I crossed my legs, my husband looked at me and I realized what I had done! OMG, that was so cool!
* I actually have a lap my Bible will fit onto now, I can rest my Bible on my lap instead of my belly!
* The bra extenders are off all my bras now! YIPPEE(I think...lol..I know this is due to losing weight in that area, some of the girth, not just the tits...lol)
* There is plenty of room between my belly and the steering wheel now, it used to rub the steering wheel...YUCK!
* I had two people in ONE day(Sunday) call me skinny...NOW, that in it's self is hilarious! NOBODY is skinny at 257 pounds! That is what I weighed Sunday!
I AM SURE THERE ARE MORE AND I WILL ADD AS I REMEMBER OR THEY HAPPEN...LOL

A WEEKEND OUT OF TOWN
We went out of town this past weekend to a craft show in the Jacksonville Mall in Jacksonville, NC. it was interesting being away from home and seeing how I would do. I held fast to the plan and drank plenty of water(chomped on ice all day). Ate protein first and got in my vitimins. I got home and hopped on the scales and low and behold the stall is over! YIPPEE! I am down 48 pounds from my coming home from the hospital weight(306), and 58 from this time last year! I went for a week without losing anything, that was scary! BUT hopefully we are on the move again!
I must say I was a little dissappointed in myself this weekend. I say that because I really expected to do better energy wise and with my back hopefully NOT hurting as much. I mean 45-48 pounds is nothing to sneeze at. I really hoped I wouldn't feel so drained at the end of the day from working, BUT 12 hours is a LOOONNNNG time to be standing on your feet, waiting on people. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the work we do. We do the meaning of names and personalized poems, and BOY were we busy this weekend! BUT I loved it! I love doing that, just wish my body was more cooperative! My back ached so bad by the time we left the mall Friday and Saturday night, I was hunched over like a 90 year old woman! Sunday was a short day due to blue laws, we got at the mall right at 12 noon and were busy till we ended our day at 6 pm. THEN we had to pack up and move on out of there! Talk about the fun part...NOT! My back hurt, my knee hurt like crazy! I was so worn out! BUT hey, our food bill was waaayyyy less this time than any other time we have ever traveled and done this craft show! So that was great! I must admit I never realized how much food I ate before, or how much I really enjoyed eating! BUT when you know you will get sick if you eat something or you will feel terrible, it puts quiet the damper on your appetite! I eat so little now and I feel full! I love it. BUT I must admit I do miss the wrong foods. I use to eat 4-5 pieces of pizza, my favorite food. NOW I do good to eat the toppings off one piece! Cheescake, forget it, I ain't even attempting that one! My husband and I used to eat a piece of cheesecake every night after we had sex. I know, how great is that???? Sexercise and then cheesecake!!! OH the habits we form and then we wonder how did we get this way!  After having this surgery and seeing how little I eat, it is no wonder I wasn't way bigger than 316! BUT I must say I lOVE MY POUCH! No way I would be losing this weight without this surgery, and changing my eating habits along the way, it is awesome! We eat to live now, NOT live to eat!
BTW I have a head cold or sinus infection or something of the like going on! My whole head is congested and I've been slinging snot all day(I know a lovely way to put it huh?). BUT true, if any of you reading this know something I can take for it let me know. I have been using the nasel rinse solution and it seems to help somewhat. BUT it will be hard to breathe one minute and my nose running the next!!!! HELP!!!!?????
OK, got to hit the sack now. You guys keep me in your prayers and oh BTW I have a friend, Robyn, who is going through a rough time right now, pray for her too!

MY FIRST STALL!
on May 7, 2008 9:30 am
Ok, so far this has been one crazy ride! BUT, I haven't lost a single ounce since Saturday May 3rd and it is Wednesday May 7th! But I have read enough to know this happens. I am just hanging in there, taking one day at a time. I know I am doing what I am suppose to. Getting in all my fluids, taking my vitimins, getting my protein in. So I am NOT stressing over this, just hope this stall doesn't last long. If you don't know by now, I am a bit impatient!.....lol!
We are going out of town this weekend to a craft show in Jacksonville, NC. We have set up in this mall before BUT it is usually in October for the fall craft show. BUT this time we are trying the Spring show. I am excited, I love to do the craft shows and it is change of pace from day care kids! PLUS my husband and I get to be around each 24 hours a day. I guess with some couples that would get on their nerves. BUT I am truly blessed with a wonderful husband and he is awesome and so good to me. We really enjoy our time together, even if it is working...lol.
I spent time this past weekend going through my closet and chest of drawers again. Another whole big pile of too big clothes for my ebay listings. I went through my clothes in storage again and have lots of "new" things to wear again. Well, they are "new" to me, seeing as how I haven't ever wore them or haven't wore them in 4 years or more! It is soo cool to put on something I haven't been able to wear in years! Even better when I realize it is too big!
BTW I found the pic to Carolwinds last year. YUCK! BUT, it does show how far I have come already. Can't wait till this june 7, Carowinds here I come and I'm gonna have fun and ride roller coasters this year! Can't wait!
