Planning a big celebration of sorts

Oct 11, 2011

I am 2lbs away from hitting 150lbs lost. For some reason, this sounds like a good number to celebrate. Sometimes I am way to hard on myself and I wake up thinking that I havent accomplished very much. Ive never been very good at celebrating - weight loss or anything. I didnt even attend my law school graduation b/c i didnt feel like it was that big of a deal. So, i'm going to celebrate.

I am going to celebrate by completing 150 miles - for each pound lost - in 30 days by walking, running, biking, maybe swimming. That averages out to about 5 miles a day - but will be more since I do need some rest days. I'm in the midst of a lot of transition with work and moving out of my apartment, and finalizing the divorce, BUT - that just makes this so much  more perfect for me right now. I've always had a hard time sticking with exercise when times get tough and tend to put it on the back burner, but this next month will be a big turning point in a lot of ways.

Im secretly hoping for a temporary stall to gear up for this, but whenever I hit that mark, it will be game on :)  I'm sooo excited - it will be a great month.
