2nd fill...

Went to the doc today to get another fill. I wasn't due to have another one until July 16th, but it just about was killing me because I could eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that I stuck in my mouth.  I was afraid that I'd gain a bunch of weight back.  I've lost 2 lbs since my last fill 3 weeks ago, so yes, it was time for another fill.

They added another 0.8cc into my band that already had 1.2cc, leaving me with a total of 2.0 cc in a 4 cc band.

I already feel a bit of restriction, but I'm still able to eat - so far! LOL

We'll see how long this one lasts...he said probably 2-3 weeks.  Wish me luck!!!

Update on port soreness...

Strangely enough, after 2 weeks of absolute soreness, I woke up one morning and it was completely gone. 2 weeks of not being able to bend over, or do anything that required me to use my stomach muscles without a quick reminder because it HURT! Then I wake up one day and it's totally gone....weird!!! It's like I'm waiting for it to start hurting again LOL

Hey anyone like scary movies?? I went to see 1408 today...it was pretty weird!

Ironically enough, we went fishing again this weekend, and there was this guy who sat and chatted with my girls and I while we were fishing...I was thinking, "this guy is pretty damn cute" (yes I'm HAPPILY married, but he was cute!). Anyway, turns out he used to weigh over 500 lbs! He lost 290 pounds from the gastric bypass!!! I would have never known either. I forget what brought it up but then we started talking about my lap band. I guess you just never know who's had WLS!!!

Port soreness....

Has anyone experienced pain or soreness after a fill? It's been two weeks since my fill and my abdominal muscles are STILL sore! It hurts to bend over or move certain ways...Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how long does this usually last?? This is the first time since my surgery that I've had this kind of discomfort....

Ate TOO much!

WOW I ate WAY too much today. 1625 calories! ARGHHHHHH!!! It must be that time of the month for me (although I had a hysterectomy last year so I wouldn't know for sure, but it sure feels like it!). I'm HUNGRY, I'm craving everything, and because I CAN, I'm eating everything!!!! Just as I get down to 233 after a week of not losing a pound, and now I go and ruin it for myself. My port site is soreeeeeeee for the first time since surgery.  I feel bloated...blah blah.  Ok pity party over, tomorrow is a new day.

My hair is falling out everytime I brush it. It's dry, it's brittle, and it's thinning. I've always had pretty healthy hair, now it's icky. I get enough protein in a day and I take my vitamins. Hopefully that gets better soon!!!

wow! started a new fitness dance class today - it kicked my butt!!!  I was exhausted by the end of the hour long class...

CRAZY STUFF! But it was a ton of fun and I KNOW that I burned calories today!!! hehe
