Dr. Felix is confident and VERY serious about what he does. He emphasizes the risks and the importance of following ALL instructions. You can tell that he cares about his patients for several reasons 1) Because he truly cares. 2) Because they'll send him more people/referrals lol. rnrnHe's funny too....rnrnHe did an awesome job on my surgery, and my scars are tiny and will blend in perfectly with my old stretch marks LOL!rnrnThe anesthesiologist, Dr. Herbert (?) at Clovis Community deserves some major kudos too! This is the first time after a surgery that I didn't experience 1 bit of nausea! It's ALWAYS been a problem and this time I had ZERO! THANK YOU!!!

Update....

January 2007 I weighed 266 lbs...I was FAT and unhappy, and it shows in my pictures....I don't have a picture from that date, but I do have one from the day before my surgery, and one from today to compare to.  60 lbs lighter...you decide which picture is which....I love my band! Sometimes I feel like I'm losing too slow, but I'm still losing! I don't know why I'm in such a hurry....I'm enjoying the journey and I feel SO much better!!!

Goals achieved in 2007...goals for 2008

Goals achieved for 2007:

1.  To be healthier!
2.  To lose weight. I'm 59.2 lbs lighter than I was this time last year.
3.  I'm off of ALL of my medications! Arthritis, blood pressure, water pills, cholesterol. ALL OF THEM!
4.  I'm more active
5. I'm less than a size 20 and can now wear an XL shirt again
6. I'm happier and healthier than I have been in a long time!

Goals for 2008:

1. To lose another 30-40 lbs by the end of the year
2. To become much more active....exercising 3-5 times a week faithfully
3. To be a wonderful wife and grandmother to my 2 new grandbabies!
4. To remain healthy and happy :)
