My Story

I had gastric bypass surgery about 11 and a half years ago.  I have had many ups and downs.  I have never reached my goal of getting into a "normal" weight range (in fact I am still working on getting out of obese weight range). I am finally at a place of setting a goal of actually reaching a healthy weight.  I started out at 323 pounds before my surgery.  I am currently at 199 (have lost 124 pounds).  I still have 60 pounds to go to get to 139 which is at the highest of a healthy weight according to the "charts" for my height (5'3").
