Thanks! Surgery went good. Just had the x-ray to see if I can start drinking. Wish I wasn't so light headed though hate walking when I'm like that. I'm in north 6 room 669.

One Year!

It's been one year since I got the sleeve. 113 lbs gone! Not only am I healthier, I weigh under 200 lbs, which hasn't happened in 18 years, I can buy clothes in the misses section instead of the plus size! That is what really did it for me. Buying my first pair of pants in the misses. Wow!

100 lbs gone!
on January 13, 2013 6:11 pm

I did it! 100 pounds gone! Still amazing to think that in 7 months I've lost 100 lbs. Never could have I did it without having the sleeve. I feel so much better health wise and also look wise.

I have 9 more pounds to go to get under 200 lbs. Thats when it will really hit me. Seeing a 1 to start my weight. Been 18 years since I seen that!

6 Months out
on December 15, 2012 7:04 pm

6 months since surgery. It's gone by fast! I can't believe the transformation my body has gone through. I have bones protruding! I'm so close to the 100 lbs mark and have lost 37"! I know I could never have done it without the sleeve. The sleeve has changed my life. I am healthier, able to do more, in less pain....and the list goes on.

Going in a few days for my 6th month check up. Hopefully all ok. I know I'm still not getting all my liquids in. Not exercising like I should either. :( But after the move my plan is to get back to doing more. I would love to be able to get out of plus size clothes.

14 weeks out
on September 20, 2012 6:34 pm
Wow. 3 months have gone by since surgery. Went in for my labs and 3 month check. Looking good. Protien was just a bit down but nothing to worry about. Down 55 pounds since surgery. They said I'm a bit above average but thats ok. I asked what the doctors goal weight for me was. She said 190-210. Was kinda surprised it was that high. But its something I think I'll feel comfortable with.
Having to buy new clothes now. Pants wise I am down 2-3 sizes. At work, everyone keeps saying how good I look. Nice to know it's really noticable. Of course, I notice it also now.
I'm feeling so much better! I can breathe, move...I just need to find time to exerecise though. Schedule is really hard right now. :(

Shopping
on September 2, 2012 8:12 pm
Have picked up a few new clothes. I have gone down almost 4 sizes in pants! Today I bought a t-shirt in XL! From a 4X to XL? Wow! I'll say the XL is a big tight for my liking yet but I was buying it for a bit later when the temps get cooler. Now all I need our new bras so they won't sag so much. LOL

On another note, have been in a bit of a stall these past couple weeks. Weight isn't really changing. :( Trying not to get frustrated...Almost 3 months out...will take measurements again then. Can't wait to see how many more inches gone. :)
