From the very start, I felt very comfortable with Dr. Schmidt. She is intelligent (really knows what she's doing) and has a wonderful bedside manner. She came to see me in the hospital twice after surgery to make sure I was doing well. She called me when I got home to see if I had any questions and make sure I was O.K.. I ended up calling her late one night for some problem I was having, and she never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Also, great follow up exam.

Just checki' in!!

Hi all, today is Friday - Yay!!  I'm starting to get some of my energy back so am looking forward to being more active.  My scale is still stuck at 40 lbs. , but I'm thankful for that much!  All I can do is keep on truckin', - I'm getting in my water and protein so not much more I can do (except - be more active) maybe that will move things along!  People notice the weight loss, and that feels really good, and I'm having to get smaller clothes so maybe I'm losing inches instead of lbs.  Well, I'm going to stop complaining now,   --  write more later!
