Surgeon Testimonial

Neil R. Floch MD
Dr. Neil Floch was wonderful from the moment I met him. His practice requires you to attend a Weight Loss Surgery Seminar before you consult his office. This seminar is where I first met "Doc Floch". His presentation was thorough and honest. All the information was given in a realist perspective. Nothing was sugar coated and all the risks were explained in detail as were all the steps of both Gastric Bypass and LapBand surgery. During the presentation I felt that he was only talking to me. He made eye contact with every person in that room (there were probably more than 30 of us). He took time after the presentation to meet with any people that had questions or concerns. At my first appointment, he remembered me! I couldn't believe it. He not only made me feel appreciated, but that he took a more personal interest in those who seek his assistance. He was wonderful in our first consult, even with my husband who is normally reserved to himself. I have every confidence in the surgeon I have chosen and can't wait for the rest of my life to begin as a loser because of a winner doctor like Dr. Neil Floch. Update: I have undergone surgery and wanted to add that without all the after care that the office provides, I might be completely lost. The support offered by the PA's, Doctors, as well as the Psychotherapists and other patients has been truely a gift. I have made so many friends and have come a long way already. I just can't stop saying thank you!

Oh so much has happened, where do I begin? Let's start with the bad news first...

My husbnd of two years (been together 6 years) and I are getting divorced. I believe most of it has to do with money, arguments are always about money, but I'm also a much different person now. I don't take the same crap I used to take and I don't know if he was ready to "as long as you both shall live" with the new me. Sad, but at least we're remaining friends and hopefully that relationship will continue.

On the good note, I've begun dating again. I'm too young and much to beautiful now on the outside as well as the inside to stop my life in its tracks. I'm currently at 170 pounds which puts me into a healthy BMI range. That was exactly what my goal was to be. I feel fantastic, I never nap after school anymore. My students and some colleagues actually show more respect for me strangely enough (perhaps now I have more energy to do a better job....) As far as the rest of my life goes, I can't complain!!!

In a million... trillion years, I would not have recognized you if we passed in the street. I would, though, have thought... what a beauty!
Life does change the dynamics of our relationships, that much I know.
