All Done!!

All done!! Had my surgery on April 19th at 10:45a. I was a little nervous, and actually thought about calling the whole thing off up to wheeling me into the operating room. But I went through with it, and it was a great thing because, my doctor said my Gallbladder was a time bomb getting ready to go off, and I had a hernia. A surgery that was only supposed to be 2 hours ended up being closer to 3 1/2hours. I woke up in alot of pain, but they quickly got it under control, and we kept it that way the whole time. I was up and out of bed that night at around 7p, walking. I now am surprised at how well I am doing. I called my brother, who also had WLS, the day after I came home, and said is this the calm before the storm. Because I feel like I feel too good. He just laughed. So here it is, on my way. I do not regret this at all, and I know it will be the best thing ever for me. I went to the movies yesterday to see Kenny Chesney 3d experiance concert, and there was a woman that came in, and sat down and started crying. In my head I am thinking "ok" but she turns and says to the guy she is with and says "The last time I was at the movies, I could not fit in the seat", and I thought to myself, as the arm rest were up so I could  fit, Wow maybe next time that will be me!!! Anyway, here I go onto week 2 post op!!

Liquids!!

So I am about to start my liquid diet, and I am NOT looking forward to it. I have binged eaten all week. I prob have gained about 1to 15 pounds. I just finished eating steamed Crabs, I know, I Know, I will be able to have the crab meat again. But it was not that I was scared of never being able to have the mustard ever again, my favorite part!!  I also had birthday cake, cause next Sunday is my birthday, and of course liquid diet. So here is to my week of liquids!!
