Trace Curry
I am very happy to have found Dr. Curry. I have never had a doctor who makes themself so available to his patients. You email, call or post on his forum and you get an answer even on the weekends. Dr. C is very down to earth in the way he speaks to me - everything is explained in simple terms that anyone could understand. rnrnI feel like I have team support from everyone in his office, we all have the same goal in mind getting me healthy. rnrnI give Dr. C and his staff a big gold star because they are indeed super stars.rnrn

Its hard

I continue to struggle with making the right food choices. My weight is back up to 236.8. It is still progress so I'm happy but I need to find a way to get the food back in control. Its amazing how far off track I have fallen with my food choices. Back to the basics. I think writing it all down will help and just go from there. I know this is just a bump in the road I will pull things back together and get going again. Its all part of the journey no body said it would be easy. I figure so far I've had a smooth journey so a couple rocks and bumps along the way should be expected.

Something has amazed me. I have to buy salt for my water softening system and the bags are 40lbs each so to pick up and carry two of them is almost the equivalent to what I have lost and OMG I can't believe that I carried that much extra weight on my body all the time. It really helps me see how far I have come to pick things up that equal my weight loss because I can't imagine having to carry those bags with me all day and in a way I did. No wonder by body was so tired and hurting. So my body and me thank me for dropping the weight. I can move so much better and its more comfortable too.

I can do anything I put my mind to as long as I use my tools.
Find other activities besides eating.
Journal my foods.
Use some of my stress management techniques.
Take time to reflect on my progress.
Make healthy food swaps.
I can see the goal line and I'm blocking myself from getting there. Time to get out of the way so I can get to the finish line.
