i'm 24 years old and i weight 212 pounds..i got married in 2002 to a wonderfull man..my fam was not supportive so we ended up going to a court house and we had no one at our wedding..my folks flipped out..it was a long and emotional ordeal.. due to all the stress i got pre diabetes,pscos,high colesterol,and high blood pressure.. we have been thru a lot to be together..lol hurricanes,surgeries,moved across the country car accidents..so i'm having this surgery , to do something for myself...






i have a date my date is on july 14th.. i'm kinda scared because i hate needles..lol and i have never had surgery before!! my husband had surgery rny a few months ago and he has lost about 80 pounds or so..he is looking preety hot..lol i'm trying to figure out how to keep a journal on this thing..lol why does it have to be so complicated.. that is why i havent posted a picture..lol.. well untill then here is myspace..http://www.myspace.com/6067980...

july..13th..
this week went by too fast..i cant belive that i just had my last good night of sleep ..since i'm going to be to nervous to sleep tonight and have to get up at 3 am..i have to be at 12 oaks hospital here in houston at 5 30 am..when my husband had surgery we went to the 5th floor a nurse made him change into a gown gave him a heprin shot and said someone will come for you..then they did..i was not allowed to go downstairs with him..it was so quick..and he had to wait like 2 to 3 hrs downstairs next to other people having surgery..its my first surgery so i hope i dont have to wait to long alone..my parents are going to be there..i practically had to make my mom go.. since i got married i had to fight to stay with him..my mom was very controling when i lived at home..she has a strong personality..and my hubby does too..therefore they dont get along at all..i hope my mom doesnt say something dumb and makes it realy weird for everyone in the waiting room..i'm about to have surgery i cant be worrying about my husband and my moms mouth..but i want them there..this surgery is not a piece of cake..shoot..thats what got me here in the first place.. i tried putting pictures up i dont think they work..arrggg if ayone knows how to use this website let me know..i can do myspace but this one is kinda complicated..lol i'm so nervous that i might write more later on tonight..if not..wish me luck..




july 14th woke up this morning at 12 am and then again at 3 am i have to be at the hosptital at 5 30 am..i cant belive how calm and composed i feel..but theres something inside me that wants to scream..thanks to all who have sent me messages..it has realy helped me get thru this hard time..my husband was getting all scared and told me how much he loves me last night..i think he is way more nervous than me..my only concerns are waking up after surgery screaming with pain.. i mean i expect pain..but i hope i'm not yelling ,kicking and screaming..you know? lol arrrrggg i hope this is over soon..lol i mean the pain i dont have yet..lol

july 16th i went home around 8 am..i could have gone home yesterday but i couldnt pee..lol everything went great..with the surgery no complications dr jay also fixed a hiatal hernia i had..
the leak test also went great..
let me tell you about day of surgery!! my husband and i were both nervous..for some reason i was realy calm though..we drove to 12 oaks hospital were i went straight to the 5th floor..they put me in a gown..took some blood..came in asked me questions..put my hospital braceletts on..and told me i was the second case..wich sucked because i got there at 5:30 am and i was not going to get to go in until 9am ..my mom ,dad and brother got lost on their way to the hospital..again(when my husband had surgery)..it was realy weird cause here we were all in a room waiting for them to take me downstairs..my parents and husband dont get a long..so it stressed me out..everyone behaved so far..lol..dr jay came in and talked to me before he did the first surgery..2 hrs before they took me downstairs they gave me the blood thinner as well..i hate needles so i gave myself little goals...took one needle at a time..lol
i was also nervous because when they take you down stairs they prep you with an iv and give you antibiotics and such and there you are waiting by yourself without fam antil its your time..my hubby waited downstairs for his surgery about 2 to 3 hrs..that must have sucked bad..when they took me downstairs i had a nice nurse who put my iv in and knew i was nervous so she let my husband come in to the holding to wait with me until surgery!!! yay..i had a nurse come talk to me that was going to be in surgery..and the magician who was going to put me to sleep..lol.. after a while he came back and said it was time he wheeled me to the OR and i moved to the or bed..he gave me a happy drug thru my iv and told me to breathe thru the mask..i was out...i was in and out when i woke up i remember the nurses telling me to breathe..i was in pain but not the omg type pain i was preety content..lol when my husband left i even flapped like a bird and gave him the monkey look like the family guy cartoon..the whole flapping thing is a inside joke..lol...

i went home on sunday because on saturday i couldnt pee after they pulled my catherer..lol i felt uncomfortable but i couldnt feel my stuff down there..lol so i didnt want to push to hard..lol when they took me off the drip morphene they put me on kids motrin yumm..lol and a nasal spray for the pain..one spray and i was completely out..lol

i have never had surgery before so when i went home i was in pain..so much that i kept saying to my hubby ...we arent having kids..lol but its been two weeks now and i changed my mind..lol
i went to see the doctor and he said i was healing great..yay i have been putting neosporin on my cuts..today is the 31st and i weighed 196..yay ..
