Surgeon Testimonial

Tananchai Lucktong, M.D.
My husband and I really liked Dr. Lucktong, he explained everything including all the risks of being obese and all the risks of the surgery. We met in a group setting but there was only one other person. After that we met with him one on one. I really think I made a really good choice. I really enjoyed my consultation but hubby was tired...lol. It was long but well worth it too. I liked Dr. Lucktongs staff as well. Everyone was very nice and they took really good care of us. Dr. Lucktong is going to have me do a sleep study, I was borderline but I am really impressed that he is going to do this. I was actually hoping he would. I am very impressed and really feel like I made an excellant choice.

It just gets better and better!!!!
Well I'm hoping I am coming to the end of this journey and starting a whole new journey.  "Living life to it's fullest"  I've come a long way from the time I decided to save my life.  I feel I am so blessed.  My business is thriving and I will soon be USDA Lisenced to breed Sugar Gliders.  I just had my very first Leucistic joey..all white with black eyes.  I will soon have pictures of her on my website.  www.suggiebabies.com.  Check it out.  Work is going well I have applied for a leadership training program.  It's nationwide so if I get accepted..wow.  My family is a real blessing as well.  I have a wonderful husband who has stood by me through it all.  He is the love of my life.  We have a wonderful 7 year old son who is the light of my life....he keeps me young...lol.   We have 2 pugs Duncan and Babay, a bunny named Foo and of course all my suggies, 10 who will stay.  2 will be leaving next weekend to go to their wonderful new home.  I know they will be spoiled and that makes me so happy.

PS appointment today!
on September 4, 2008 2:40 pm
Had a checkup today so he could see how the infection is doing.  He said it is getting better and that I no longer need to wear the compression garment.  He also gave me the all clear to work out.  I'm going to start back next week.  See if I can't get back to some type of schedule.  It will be hard getting back into it but I am excited and looking forward to it.  He also said the scars are looking good too.

I just realized I have been a member for 2 years.  Wow time has flown by.  I cannot believe the changes that have taken place in my life.

Wooohoooo I am so excited.  What does it mean?  It means credibility and I will also be able to breed more then 3 females.  I have plans for 6 breeding females.

Uhhhg I have an infection
on August 15, 2008 5:10 pm
Well I was doing so good...darnit.  Oh well we're on top of it so hopefully it will be cleared up before my next appointment.  This morning I notice my tummy was tighter then normal and hurt when I moved.  I didn't think much of it but it just proceeded to get worse.  I called my Dr. and he put me on an antibiotic and gave me some pain meds.  We'll see if we can get this knocked out.

2 weeks post op from LBL and BL
on August 7, 2008 6:06 am
Well here I am 2 weeks post op and feeling pretty good.  Two things that bother me the most right now are the drains and the swelling.  I have my dr.s appointment today and am hoping he removes all my drains.  They are barely putting out 2.5 cc's every 12 hours.  That is well within the range to have them removed.  Keeping all my crossables crossed.  The only pain I have is just soreness like I worked out to hard.  That goes away a little each day.  I am back to work just part time this week and that is going fine.  I probably could work longer but my supervisor would rather me not have a setback so insists that I just work the 4 hours.  I'm going to ask Dr. K when I can start walking and then when I can start my workout.  I also need to ask him about core exercises and crunches. I had heard that you shouldn't do them if you had your stomach muscles tightened as it would undo all the work the ps did.  Not sure I believe that.

This morning when I took out Riley and Nash's sleeping pouch to give them mealworms on of the joeys was hanging out a lot of the way.  We definitely have a Leucistic joey woooohoooo.  That's a white joey with black eyes.  I have decided that if it is a female I am keeping her.  I can't wait until it comes oop all the way.  I want to hold it...lol.

My Story

I am a 42 year old married woman with one son.  My husband is Tommie and my son is Logan.  I have had asthma since I was six, I now have RA, Fibromyalsia, migraines.  I am always in pain I have just learned how to live with it.  Some days are worse then others.  I have always battled my weight.   At two seperate times in my life I was able to get to 160, however that was eating very little and working out at the gym 6 days a week 3 hours each night.   I would start by stretching and then do the stairmaster then I would do a step class then I would do weights.   I was also single at the time with only myself to think of.   A year before I got married I found out I had RA and it was in my feet very badly.  My workouts suffered and I slowly started to gain weight.   My hubby was so awesome he would rub and massage my feet for me, he was so awesome!!  I finally got my RA under control with Plaquinell (sp).  Then we decided to have a baby.   I had to go off all drugs for 6 months before even attempting to have a baby.   I started working out again trying to get my weight under control.   Then Yeah, after about 9 months of trying, I got pregnant.   During the pregnancy my RA  went into remission, thank the lord.   After I had Logan I joined another gym, and every night after work I would pick up Logan and I would work out for about an hour and a half.   I lost 20lbs. I was doing power walking but at 5'2 and 260lbs not such a good idea.   I damaged my heals, and my arthritis came back.   I went to my doc and she put me back on the plaquinell but it didn't do anything.   She tried several things and in the mean time she sent me to the foot doc.   I had Planteofascitis (sp) sigh.....really bad in my right heel.   He gave me a cortizone shot and that helped for about a month.  Took about 3 shots and several differant drugs and customized arch support for my shoes.   Then I had to baby my feet, it took two years to get completely over that.  By that time I had gained the 20 back.   I was also in 2 different car accidents that damaged my neck.  And I found out that I had fibromyasia as well.   Over the past year I have been sick so many times the ladies at the urgent care know me.    I have had chronic bronchitis and once I even saw my own pcp in the urgent care and he asked me who my pcp was?   I was like...your kidding right?   Then I'm all uhhhhh you are.    I can't remember what his reaction was, it took a new doc in the urgent care to actually look at my chart.  I went in and when he asked me what was wrong I just started crying and he said...oh hey what's wrong?  I said I am so tired of being sick.   I had been in and out of the urgent care about every 2 weeks for the whole school year and when it continued during the summer I just couldn't take it.  In the past five months or so I have had really bad heart burn.  I am just so ready to lose the weight and become healthy again.  I really am looking forward to being active again and being able to become a part of the family and go on family outings and enjoy myself.

4 great new flavors....check it out.
