Surgeon Testimonial

Tananchai Lucktong, M.D.
My husband and I really liked Dr. Lucktong, he explained everything including all the risks of being obese and all the risks of the surgery. We met in a group setting but there was only one other person. After that we met with him one on one. I really think I made a really good choice. I really enjoyed my consultation but hubby was tired...lol. It was long but well worth it too. I liked Dr. Lucktongs staff as well. Everyone was very nice and they took really good care of us. Dr. Lucktong is going to have me do a sleep study, I was borderline but I am really impressed that he is going to do this. I was actually hoping he would. I am very impressed and really feel like I made an excellant choice.

Just waiting
on November 28, 2006 6:02 pm
Lol the old hurry up and wait.   Here it is Tuesday night and just waiting for Friday.    We are taking Logan to Barnum and Bailey Circus.  We have seets on the floor.   I'm very excited.   Saturday  we are taking the pugs for their check up and shots.   We got a coupon for a free office visit and the vet is right inside PetSmart.   Then I think I may go shopping Saturday afternoon.   Going to put up the tree and wrap some presents.   Tommie is getting most of Logan's gifts this year and he has half of the shopping done.   I have to say he got some really cool stuff that Logan will love.    He is going to have a really good year this year.
I have been trying Crystal light, I found a peach mango slurpee at 7eleven and it is yummy.    Today I tried the orange and strawberry Kiwi (Kroger brand)  They are not too bad.   I am praying and hoping that the sleep study is negative for sleep apnea.

Gall stones
on November 24, 2006 8:34 am
Well I called Missy this morning at Dr. Lucktong's office and she told me that I am low on my vit D she said that I will need to make sure I am getting 400 international units daily.   She also told me that I have gall stones.   I kind of thought I did because I have been having unexplained pain in that area for a while now.   Missy said that Dr. Lucktong will probably take it out during my WLS.   That is fine by me...just means that I won't have that problem down the road.   She also told me that she had my rocorded weight at 256....wooot one more pound!!  I really would like to get down to 250 so I don't have to worry about that fluctuating pound I have...lol.   I can also see a difference in my t-shirts my belly doesn't stick out as far as it used to.   Wow getting close now and I am getting excited to get this done.   Still hanging onto a hope that I will get it done in December.   It all depends on my sleep study and wether I have sleep apnea or not.   I am praying I don't....and keeping all my fingers and toes crossed.

Tests
on November 23, 2006 4:33 am
Well I have most of my tests out of the way.   I will call Missy tomorrow to see if she got the results from everyone.   Not in a big rush since I still have the sleep study.  Hoping and praying that they can schedule my follow up for the sleep study soon after.   I am still secretly hoping for a WLS for Christmas...hehe.    I won't get upset if it doesn't work out that way.   I have been posting on the January board so....

Well it is Turkey Day and I am making deviled eggs my recipe is
18 eggs boiled

I put these ingrediants in the "deviled part"
egg yolks from boiled eggs
smidgen of musterd
1 tsp of dill pickle juice
Mayo - sorry I just wing it so don't know exactly how much I put in
real bacon bits... about 2/3 of the Hormel jar.
mix it all up and put in the egg whites
then I sprinkle the left over bacon bits on top the the deviled eggs.
Yummmmy.

2 tests done
on November 20, 2006 4:08 pm
Well had my psych eval today and it was no big deal....lol I stressed for nothing.   At the end (it only lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes.   Doctor Peterson was easy to talk to.   At the end he cleared me for surgery and let me know if any time after surgery I needed counseling to give him a call.   I don't think I will need to but you never know and it is nice to see someone you know you can talk to.   Then I had my nutritional consult after that and she basically told me everything about the diets and told me about the supplements.   I had puchased upcalD and she didn't know about it but I told her is was a powder she was all for that insted of tums X.  She also explained what is would feel like when I am getting full.   LOL she also said if the pouch don't like it don't eat it.   I thought that was funny and so true from what I am hearing.  Tomorrow I will have 2 more tests out of the way.   I am getting there.   The time is actually not dragging by like I thought it would.
