My journey begins!

About a month ago, I went to an introductory class for weight loss surgery.  This was required to get a referral to the actual weight loss surgery program.  And today, I went to the orientation at the actual bariatric surgery clinic.  I received a binder with all the program information.  I was weighed and also scheduled for my consultation with the surgeon, nutritionist and program psychologist.  

Now I need to read the entire binder, cover to cover.  I bought all the required vitamins and am going to start taking them tonight.  Also, I actually worked out today.  I finally used a video that I have had for a long time.  It was somewhat ridiculous but I still liked it.  It worked well with my knee problems.  It was called Chair Dancing.  I worked out for 35 minutes, which is the most that I've worked out in a very long time.  

I really thank God for giving me the courage to start on this journey.  I know that nothing is possible without His help and guidance.  Even today, I really struggled to exercise but thanks to God I found the strength to keep going and finished the whole video.  God willing I will work hard, lose this weight and be happier and healthier.
