It looks like it is finally going to happen, got the call today for a May 1st surgery date.  I go in 4/5 for my preop diet.  The doctor wants me on an extended diet to get some weight off.

Had my EGD today, went really well.  He found a small ulcer which was caused from my asprin regimen but he said it won't affect my surgery.  Also had a re eval with the behaviorist and things are looking better than last year.  I should be hearing from them to set up an appt for my preop diet soon and have a date scheduled hopefully next month.

Well I had my second appointment with the dietician and that went well.  She said she thinks I am ready for this because I have been making the changes I need.  Also had a consult with the surgeon again and he also thinks I am ready.  He said after my EGD on thursday I should be set to go.  I should be getting my preop diet soon after that and they figure on surgery in April sometime.  I am ready.
