Surgeon Testimonial

Donald Czerniach, M.D.
I think Dr. Czerniach is the best. Since the first time I met him, he made me totally comfortable. I would tell anyone looking to have this surgery go to this Dr., you won't be disappointed.

Hey Amy, Congradulations on your surgery date. I just seen your having your surgery tomorrow. I wish you a speedy recovery and an uneventful surgery. Make sure you get up and walk as much as you can. The more you walk the better you will feel in the long run. Trust me. You are on your way to a new life. I will keep a warm place for you here on the loser's bench here next to me. Take care. I'll be praying for you and your husband to calm his nerves while you are in surgery.

I met the surgeon today. He seems young but I really liked him.  He was trained by the best surgeon. Now I just wait for that phone with date.  I just keep staring at the phone like that is going to make it ring with the doctor on the other end...............lol.

My Story

3/6/07

Hello, my name is Amy and I have been married to my wonderful husband Ralph for 10 years this April.

I have been overweight all my life, you know "the fat one in the family".

We have not been able to get pregnant and after many AI the doctor wanted to do IVF, but I am to overweight to do them. So this is when I started to look into gastric bypass.  I started with the Fallon program, but did not really like it.  I then found the Umass program and I love it !!!

I have learned so much from them and they are very thorough. It has been about 1 year since I started. Now all I am waiting for is that phone call to go see the surgeon and have him submit everything to my insurance.

Well a little about me, I am 32 will be 33 this May. I have a very supportive family and infact my cousin just had the surgery this past January and she is doing great. Big inspiration to me. I have two handsome nephews, 6 beautiful nieces and a new nephew on the way this April!!!!!

Hopefully I will be the next one adding to the kids.  :)

I will add more after I get the phone call.
