Hi.  My name is Amy.  I am married and have three children.  I am here for support.  I need help with all of the WLS stuff!  I had my surgery October 10, 2007!  Yeah!!OPEN RNY.  Went well.  Currently, it is July 2011 and I'm still at 160 pounds.  I'm very happy with the weight that I'm at now.  Thank God!!!

July 16, 2011, I'm 160 pounds & not eating...

I have recently decided to not eat gluten/wheat anymore.  It has been a couple of weeks since I have been eating this new way.  It is so worth it.  I had gained 8 pounds the last few months and now I've lost them and I'm back down to 160!!!  My two sons are also not eating wheat and gluten and we are finding how much healthier it is for us!!!!

My Story

Just received approval from my insurance company.  My surgery date is set for October 10th 2007.  Wish me luck. I am getting really nervous!  I began this journey in January 2007 so now I'm finally approved!!
