This has truly been a great experience. As of September 27th I am offically off all of my meds. What a great feeling! I feel so much better and I have so much energy. God is Good!

Surgery

Surgery went well on Monday. I made it home today. Feels good to be here. I have a little soreness and pain on my left side. Havent been hungry just super thirsty.

Had my hearing today! 10 minutes later recieved the call that I am approved. My surgrery Date is June 27, 2011

The insurance company received my appeal letter and all the necessary paperwork from the bariatric center. They have until June 5th to respond. I'm patiently waiting.

My Story

I finally realized that I can not take on this battle with weight on my on. On Novemeber 3 I had an appointment with my primary daoctor and I finally asked for a referral for WLS. My primary doctor set the appointment up for me. A week later I met with the surgeon and went over the lap-band and the gastric bypass. Iam not a candidate for the lap-band because I have to much weight to lose. I am so excited about all of this.
