My Story

Hello!
Well, my story isn't a new one...I got the lapband in 2008 and lost 48 pounds in the first 10 months. I got too much of a fill and long story short, band was never the same. I could never get good restriction after that, either too tight or too loose. After 10 fills and 3 unfills and a 30 pound regain, I decided to revise to the sleeve. It took over two months to find the money for revision, but it was found and I was revised in one surgery on 03/24/11 at Obesity Control Center (OCC) with Dr. Ariel Ortiz in Tijuana, Mexico. I was extremely happy with my trip to OCC, great staff and aftercare so, if you are looking to get VSG in Mexico, email me and I would be happy to share my experience with you!

I really don't know what to expect on this new journey...I just want to be a "normal" size and healthy. Let's face it, I want to shop in a regular store and fit comfortably in an airline seat...I want to try and battle with my food demons and win sometimes!
