Surgeon Testimonial

Alejandro Aguirre M.D.
Dr. Aguirre is the most wonderful man! He is professional, yet very caring. He took such good care of me, especially through all my difficulties. He came to see me several times a day and told me he and his family were praying for me. He didn't even charge me for my 2nd surgery... which he performed on a Saturday! I just love him!!!

I'm assuming it's where people write jounal-like entries, so here it goes.  I haven't written anything on my profile since before surgery.  Many of you know I had an absolutely nightmarish time, having 3 surgeries over the summer.  Thank God that's behind me.  I haven't written about the particulars of what I went through, and I'm not sure I ever will... I don't want to relive any of it!  I'm doing well now!  I've lost 62 pounds.  I've gone from a size 22/24 to a 14/16 in about 4 months.  Would I do this again?  Honestly, probably not.  Even though I'm OK now, it's been a very challenging time and the adjustment to not eating has been very difficult.  Don't get me wrong... I'm thrilled at my weight loss!  I just wish I'd been better prepared for possible complications and all the emotional stuff that goes with this surgery.  I guess that's it for now.  Sorry to sound negative!
