Hi I'm Anna new the site even tho i regesterd last year this is my first time putting up my profile. I;m 30 years i just had a Sleeve Gastrectomy on Oct. 30, 2007. I'm here to meet new ppl and get support.

Well im happy to say i've lost 30lbs and i'm feeling way better...i feel like i have a little more energy...i still get frustrated but i'm dealing with it.:)

well it's been a few days...i've been better. i have a bacterial infection and so i've been really weak. i'm taking antibiotics for it and feeling a bit stronger. i'm feeling so hungry tho... i did lose 23lbs. 
I'm trying to keep to a good eating schedual but with a house full of kids and there always hungry always eating...i'm always  tempted. lol but cuncidering i think i'm doing good. i've been introducing other foods to my way of eating and i'm haveing no problems.

well today i feel a lot better then yesterday. i'm still learning my body and how to take liquids in. i'm trying not to over do it. expecialy with the water. i' m so thersty i can't help it. lol i want to drink it down so fast...but i don't i just take to many sips.  i went to my aunts house last night and they helpd me a lot gave me ideas since they had gastric bypass surger 5 yrs ago they know how to help me. 
i'll try to write more laiter.

I HAD A SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY DONE 10/30/07. I HAVE BEEN HOME SINCE 11/1/07 AND I'M FEELING WEIRD. I'M VERY THERSTY. NOT HUNGRY YET...BUT GETTING THERE. LOL I HAVE BEEN DRINKING LOTS OF WATER AND TRYING OTHER LIQUIDS. TONIGHT I AM GOING TO EAT DINNER AND HAVE SOME CHICKEN SOUP.  HOPEFULLY IT WONT MAKE ME SICK. I'VE BEEN TIERD TOO I KNOW I'M STILL ON PAIN MEDS AND I'M SORE FROM THE SURGERY AND STILL GASSY TOO.

My Story

WELL MY LIFE FOCUSES ARROUND MY KIDS. AND HUSBAND. WE  HAVE 4 KIDS 13, 12, 8 AND 3. I LIVE WITH THEM AND MY HUSBAND OF ALMOST 9 YEARS NOW. 
I'VE BEEN THROUGH A LOT THE PAST 3 YEARS. AFTER I GAVE BIRTH TO MY 4TH CHILD I HAD MY TUBES TIED THE NEXT DAY AND  DURING THAT THE DR CUT MY VAIN AND RIGHT ILIAC ARTERY. I LOST LOTS OF BLOOD AND HAD TO BE TRANSFERD TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL. AT THE NEW HOSPITAL THE DR'S WEREN'T SURE IF MY LEG WAS GOING TO HAVE TO BE AMPUTATED. TURNED OUT MY LEG WAS SAIVED BUT I HAVE BLOOD CLOTS.  I WILL BE ON BLOOD THINNERS FOR LIFE I ENEDED GAINING WEIGHT AND GREW ABOUT  7 HERNIAS. I ENDED UP HAVEING EMERGENCY SURGERY TO REMOVE THEM THAT WAS JAN OF 06 THEN IN JULY MY HUSBAND WAS TAKEN IN TO CUSTUDY BY INS. AND I FOUGHT VERY HARD TO GET HIM HOME BUT IT WAS A LONG HARD FIGHT WITH LOTS OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS HELP. BUT WE MADE IT. ALMOST A YEAR LAITER AND HE WAS FINALY RELEASED. BUT IT WAS ALL A STRUGGLE AND WORTH IT. NOW I DECIDED TO GO THROUGH THE SURGERY AND I HAD IT DONE OCTOBER 30,2007. IT WAS SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY.
