Today has been a long day.  I was up at 0600, just could not sleep anymore, had to be at the clinic at 0930 for first appointment.  I can't believe they had more questions for me to answer.  I had the psychological evaluation from 10:00 - 11:00.  That was an interesting experience, from 11:30 - 12:20 had the nutritional evaulation, after all this was completed I had about 20 minutes before I was due to go back for my EGD.  I was finally able to leave the clinic around 2:30pm to go home.
I was so glad to be out of there and finally get something to drink.  They told me to not to eat or drink anything for 6 hours before the EGD. 

I was able to schedule a few more appointments before I left.  I will get to see internal medicine and a 2nd follow up with nutrition on November 24th.  I guess now I get to play the waiting game until then. 

Just received a  statement in the mail letting me know the charges that are pending with my insurance, all I can say is WOW!!!!  I have had all my lab work done, EKG, ultrasound, CXR, and visit to my PCP.  The total pending with insurance is $ 2,409.00...The one good thing is at the bottom of the statement it says Amount you owe now....$.00. 

I can only imagine what next week ( 10/22/08)  will do the total amount pending with insurance, I get to visit psych and nutrition in the morning and I am scheduled for an EGD that afternoon....

I  had my lab work and EKG done.  Thursday I had CXR and ultrasound done.  I can't believe the amount of blood they took for all the test they needed to run!!  The lady that took my blood was super good, did not even feel it when she stuck me with the needle. 

Oh, yes, I got on the scale at the doctor's office ( the same one as two weeks ago ) I am down 19 pounds
