Squeezed in a quick call to BCBS/IL today to check on my appeal.  Just called the customer service line # on the back of my card and waded thru all the dial this/speak that and wait on hold for what seems like forever to get to a live body.  Nope, they say they don't have it yet.  Nice CSR named Kristi asked if I had faxed it in.  Whuuut?  You have a fax number for appeals?  Gee, the lady that gave me the instructions and info on where to MAIL my appeal letter to last week didn't offer any fax # information as an option.  CSR Kristi apologized on poor informer's behalf and gave me the fax # today.  That's great and all but I didn't have a copy of my letter with me (it's at home inside my home computer).  Ggrrr.  Oh well, what's one more day, huh?  I will fax it tomorrow and call again.  I am learning you have to be an extra loud squeaky wheel sometimes.  Now if only the forces of nature don't work against me the rest of the week at work (as it has for the past several weeks).  I just need 15 minutes of my measly 30 minute lunch break to make this call & get thru to somebody.
