I went 2 C my Surgeon 2day, short story. Being my Surg is a revision from a VGB He asked me if I could lose 20 more LBS! (WHAT!!!!!????) He said he knows I've done 40 lbs already but he wants to be on the safe side BC my risk is 3X greater. And if I lose the additional weight He can go in Laparoscopically instead of doing a full open like my last surg.

Sayin' I feel him, but DAG! LOL! So the new projected date is 11/29/10! So I have 2Months N 2 weeks to lose 20LBS, HUmm wonder if it can be done :) So I'm going on a stricter diet N exercise to knock this out. He's never done a revision @ my weight (570 lbs) Yup big man! LOL! :(  :) SO he wants me @ 550LBS he sid he did a revision @ 540LBS and it's like no difference. I started out @ 610 LBs. If it would a been a 1st time surg it would have been no prob. He siad the heaviest he did was 620Lbs. He has decided for the Bypass BC the sleeve wouldn't be good for me being i have a hiatal hernia.

I told him I wanted after care (nursing home) He told me he wold do it for me, BC it's crazy @ that weight w/o help after surg! Like B4, I suffered! But any, That's mt update. Later.

So I got he word through a lot of confusion my surg is OFF!!!!! I didn't get a chance to C my DR to sign off on it. I went everyday but there was confusion I guess btwn the staff and him, sO I was told to come in on Sept 13 BC he would def be there! I said I know he will, it's the day of my surg! So he cancels it and said he still wants to C me on that day. All my labs/clinics are clear insurance N all so IDK what the prob is. I'm hoping he will just reschedule it for the end of the month or so. Yes I went through Lil Depression and yes I cried, even on the phone w/the nurse ,must apologize to her MOnday. (I DON'T CRY 4 ANYTHING!) But I'm so tired of the ups n downs, hope gained and hope lost for the past 10yrs and like 5-6 Bariatric clinics. Having sicknesses hospitalizations all due to my 1ST DR being a bad person in general.

Looking out my window, now @ where the World Trade Center used to stand and taking pics of the lights they put up every yr N thinking of that day N seeing the towers come down from the bedroom window (Off on that Tuesday). Wow I was like 160 lbs lighter and  felt better than I do now. But knew @ that weight I still would have had a diff time escaping if I would have been in it. (Thank God all my ppl  got out). Now 9yrs later I'm heavier but I'm alive, 9/11 made me want to get my act 2gether N lose this weight (still hasn't happened.) Close many times, but always put it back on N more :( MY postponed date is a mild set back compared to greater things like 9/11. I still have a chance to get healthy and I believe it will happen, So I know i still gotta thank God N keep it movin'. Life is what it is N I still have a chance to succeed @ it! :) Well I'll give an update I guess on Monday. Later ppl

Ok so 2morrow I go for my final clinic, which I thought should have been Tuesday. I got there Tues w/ my Lil skinny Dietitian 4'11" about 89 lbs soaking wet w/rocks in her pockets! Yeah she's very tiny LOL!  But after the chat she told me I've lost 11 more lbs. THat's great but I'm still 14 lbs from my  from my surg required weight. I have 12 days to lose 14 lbs! ANyway she makes an app for me to see my DR this was a last requirement set for the next day which was Wednesday. Got there yesterday (wed) N i was 4TH to be seen yea ME! :) NOPE I hade to wait fro my Gastrologist, waited for like 3 HRS then I was told she could not make the meeting w/ the PA. and myself. It Was a waste of time BC I need to meet w/ her and the PA. And DR. for a complete sign off on the surg. Yes I have a date Sept 13,10. and DR. Gastro has cleared me but it all has to be official so I have to meet w/ them all BC Chief DR has to meet w/them N do the final clearance.


Just a Lil concerned that the 14LBS not meet by this meeting will be a prob but I still have the day of the surg to clear it (as I'm told) BC some ppl get turned away when they come in SMH. They have u come in the night B4 n spend the night, which is cool IMO. I'm just so tired of all the running back n forth to clinics. I looked @ my appointment schedule I have made 25 visits over the last 8 months for testing N so on! (This hospital is very thorough) SO 2morrow will be the last N then I go for blood work.  It's require  a week b4 surg. I hope I can have it done Fri as I will be there ,BC Monday is a week B4 my surg date, but Monday is Labor day and I don't feel like traveling AGAIN Just for Blood work. BTW I owed the Cardiology clinic blood BC the switched my meds (water pills) So I did that on my (Me no C DR 2day, Day) SO 2morrow is for all the cookies! Um? shouldn't have said that now I want some "Nutter Butter" my Fav cookies! LOL! UH HUUUU! :) Yeah so we will C what's really good on the morrow.
