I, would have to say, that my first impression of Dr. Davidson was, this man is very well educated. I felt very comfy with him. I, very quickly got the impression that he would do everything in his power to make sure I would have WLS. I, felt he was going to be working for "ME" on this WLS journey. I, never once felt out of place or out smarted. He, seemed very intrested in knowing my family history and my struggles with PCOS. He, was in general a very concerned surgeon and you could see through the education the he truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. I, think he has the "BEST" office staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! I could go on and on about the great day I had with them. I will add more to this once I have had my surgery!

It's Christmas time....

I just love Christmas time....it's always been my favorite time of year. I love the music, the smell, shopping, and of course presents....lol! It's also my close to my birthday, December 28th...I'll be 25! I'm going to try and hang on tight to the last of my twenties.....since the big 30 will be here before I know it.

All the baby weight was off my body by 2 weeks post-partum. Now, I'm back to losing the remainder of my weight. I'm sitting at 137 pounds (98 pounds lost) as of today. That's also due to the fact that I'm on my fist post-partum period.....YUK!!! YUK!!!! YUK!!!!!!!! So, my surgeon wanted me at 120 pounds. At 5 months post-op I was 144 pounds (86 pounds lost) but, stoped losing because I unexpectedly got pregnant. So, now my goal is to continue the loss and get to my goal. I'm in a size 4 pants and small shirts. I do wear a med. in some clothes if they are made to fit tight. I don't have a flat tummy do to this just having a baby 11 weeks ago. I can't belive I'm almost to the mark of losing 100 pounds!!!!! That's so freakin' crazy! I never would have belived that I could be this size and be healthy!

The kiddos are good. Baby Skyler is almost 3 months (on Jan. 2nd) and Savannah is going to be 6 in March. They are just growing so fast. Savannah loves school and Skyler loves attention. She is such a good baby girl! Savannah is a WONDERFUL big SiStEr!

Life is good....I'm blessed by the Lord above and I'm so thankful for my healthy life! I wouldn't trade the days of being fat....they have made me thankful for the days of health!

I can't belive she will be exactly 1 month on November 2nd! Time flys! She is doing just great. We did change her formula from Enfamil Lipil to Carnation Good Start. Turns out the Enfamil Lipil was causing her to have gas and fuss. I thought it was colic but, once we changed to the Good Start I got my happy baby back! Praise the Lord!

She is eating 3 oz. every 3 to 4 hours. She sleeps about 4-5 hours during the night. She is awake a lot during the day and loves her tummy time! She is almost 8 pounds now!

We are all good just enjoying our life with our 2 girls!

Skyler is 1 week old as of yesterday!

Miss Skyler is 1 week old as of yesterday! She is a really truly a good baby. Just like her big sister was. She eats every 2-3 hrs. during the day, and every 3-4 hrs. during the night. She had her 1st check up this week and all looks good. She was a tad jaundice but, her labs came back with a level of 9 so, her ped says she was in the clear. Savannah was jaundice with a level of 15 when she was born.....she looked so yellow. Skyler is much more pink.

We are all doing good and Savannah is a great big sister. She is doing just wonderful with Skyler. She knows she has to wash her hands, and use the sanitizer before touching the baby. It's becoming second nature to her now.

DH took vacation from 10-2 thru 10-13 so I'm enjoying him being home with Skyler and I. He is such a good Daddy and a very big help. I'm blessed to have him.

I'm emotional, and cry at the drop of a hat. I did the same thing after Savannah was born, so it's not a shock this time around. Other than that I'm good. My body is bouncing back faster than I ever thought!!! The day I delivered Skyler I was 161 pounds. Today I'm 146 pounds. I was 144 pounds when I found out I was preggers.....so I'm only 2 pounds shy and I only gave birth a week ago.....it's just amazing!!!

Thanks to everyone who wished us well and sent comments and congrats on the birth of our new baby girl. I just don't have time to reply to everyone....but I'm very thankful.

Okay, WiFi was not working at the hospital, my cell phone had NO SIGNAL and then, it went dead! So, this is a long over due update. We got home at noon on Saturday. I'm just now getting time to update.....family and friends have been in and out.

Skyler Sayge Bannister was born on October 2nd, 2008

Born at 11:33 am

5 lbs. 10.3 oz. 17 inches long

Now for the birth story.....quick verson......

Got to the hospital at 6:30 am to be induced

Got done with paper work at 7:30 am and they put me in my L&D room

They started Pitocin at 7:45 am

Contractions started at 8:00 am

Dr. Kaye broke my water at 8:45 am

I got my epidural at 9:00 am

After only 4 hours of labor and only 3 pushes......Skyler was born at 11:33 am!

Skyler is a wonderful baby, just like her big sister was!

Baby update......

I went to the OB last Friday and as of then baby Skyler was 5 lbs. 9 oz. So we are all very happy!
