I have been heavy my entire life.  I can remember my mom sending my sister and I to TOPS when we were little girls.  The thing I remember most about that was getting "Oinked" at if we gained weight..... by adults no less! How traumatic!!  Yes, I have been on every weight loss program out there. Yes, I am great at losing weight, but even better at putting it back on.  So.... I have made the decision for WLS.  I know it is not a miracle cure.  I know I will have to work hard at success.  I need this tool!!!!!!!!

My surgery is in 6 days.  6 DAYS!!  OMG!!!  I can't believe it.  I am totally freaking out, but so excited at the same time.  I think I have everything in line for post-op.  I am a little concerned at the fact that I live alone and no one will be staying with me overnight.  Usually my mom would stay, but my dad is battling cancer and she really doesn't want to leave him alone at home.  I have friends and a BF who will hang with me during the day.  Of course I will always have my phone handy in case I need someone.  I am ready!!!
