My Story

Well I will keep it short and sweet.  I have been large my whole life I have always been the larges and tallest kid in the class since about grade one or 2 and well nothing has changed i just continued to be the biggest and talest LOL.  At 5'10 for a lady that is tall and to be about 350 lbs i would assume I stand out like a sore thumb.  I have tried all the diets, Tops, Atkins, etc never any success even tried tops as a preteen and hated it.  But anyway inquired a few years ago about weightloss surgery but my GP didn't know the process to get it covered by OHIP so I let it go.  She did however reffer me for a Panni removal but being in Thunder Bay we have ONE plasic surgeon and he refused to see me so here i was ........ Then I got wind that the RNY was being covered in Ontario and that we would have a local Assessment centre i couldn't wait to get to my Doctors office and ask for the refferal.  and here I am now waiting for and wanting surgery!
