Well on Thursday July 17th, 2007 I atended a group meeting and was explained everything about what diets I will be following and a glimps of what is going to have to change in the future.

I met alot of new people and there and even made a new friendship with this person who was sitting beside me. She sounds like a great person. I am sure we will be friends for a long time. After the meeting I hurried over to my next appointment to see the social worker. I did two appointments because I I live in Belleville and it is so far away and I thought I could get all of them in one day it would save me a trip. My soical worker was awesome, she sat down and helped me figure out what the plan is on getting ready for this surgery.  My next appointment is on August 2nd.

I did it !! I got my family doctor to fax a referral to Dr. Starr in Toronto. I am so excited. I phoned Dr.Starr's office just to see if they recieved the refferal and she set me up with a consiltation date right when I was on the phone. I can't wait . I am just starting the journey but .... I am on my way!
