Her easy way of explaining things, no lecture no attitude just really wanting to see me succeed. Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

Feel great, but need to get my eating in check. I had forgotten that being this person caused me to have WLS to begin with. Tentative date for VSG is 9/25. I hope I make it with out gaining more weight. Starting the gym again after work Monday morning.

Band & Gallbladder gone

Both my Band & Gallbladder have been removed. I follow up with my MD Fri. Hoping to get the OK for vegetables & all foods. It's hard to eat clean & healthy on a soft food limitation.

Removal 2B done 6/19, VSG to follow

Band removal date set for next week along with gall bladder removal too. Doctor feels it would be safer to wait several months in between surgeries. Disappointed but I understand. My biggest concern is not having any form of restriction during that time period. That's a lot of pressure I'm putting on myself to not gain any weight back. One day at a time, one bite at a time. To be continued.....

Band to be removed VSG to be done

My surgery for a removal of the band and a VSG has been approved. I'm just waiting on a date that my surgeon can do it. It'll all be done at the same time. Tentative date is 6/18/2012.

Trying a new journey...

After a continuous battle with my weight. My surgeon and I are in serious discussions about removing my lap band and switching to the Sleeve. Although, I adamantly believe the Lap Band is a successful tool, I think I need a bit more. I'm still getting fills though, while they see what my insurance decides. But, if it's meant to be, it will. To be continued.....
