Francis W. Teng, M.D.
Dr. Teng is extremely informative and thorough!!rnI always say it's \"Teng's way or NO WAY!!!\". He starts off by telling every patient that they must be committed to his program or they can find a different surgeon.I have heard a few patients say that they feel like he's talking down to them. He's very adamant on how things will be done. He's one awesome surgeon!!rnGoing for my last appointment next Weds. and he warned me that he will be giving me a test(routine).He'll be asking about RNY and if he feels I don't have a total understanding he won't hesitate to push back surgery date! Last chance to weigh in(I've lost quite a bit this last month)any patient who hasn't lost at least 5% weight WILL GET their surgery delayed until they have! He's tough but he tells everyone that you're committed to HIS program the first 2 years post op.rnHis brother Dr.V.Teng is anesthesiologist on all of his cases.rnTheir sister,Tina, is an RN who runs their hectic office!rnHis asst. surgeon Dr. B. Hanna is a friend of mine who has been trying to get me in the OR for 3 years! When Tina called me and said I was approved;I called Bernie and said \"You and I have a date on Dec 6th\" He was excited as I was.rnDr Teng's program is intense and requires commitment but he tells patients that on their very first visit. He does 2 hour seminar/month for people looking into surgery. Every patient must attend his seminar first. He and Dr. Hanna hold the monthly support meetings. He is VERY involved with every aspect. Like I said earlier...\"It's Teng's way or no way!!!\"

WETEOs Weekend...Vegas 2009

WETEOS weekend 2009...TOTALLY FREAKIN' ROCKED!!!!!!!  I am so glad that I was able to be a part of it!!!!! Now I'm sad because it went waaaay too quickly.

Gina was a little shocked when she realized that the WETEOs Meet and Greet on Friday night was actually a suprise early bday party for her(yes the BIG 4-0 in 2 weeks).   I believe she called us ALL liars...including Berto and couldn't believe we had kept it from her...yes she then called us all LIARS again ...but it definitely was a party to remember...hey...you only turn 40 once.  Gina...Forty and Fabulous...TOTALLY!!!!!!!
The weekend was FREAKIN awesome!!!! We had a ton of fun...played a WETEOs trivia game and WETEOs Olympics...yes Gina went all out and we had a blast.  Thanks Gina for making this all happen. I love you girl!!!!!!

Becky...damn....I wanna LOOK as smokin' as she does. FREAKIN GORGEOUS!!! and she's nice so now I officially HATE HER!!!!!  NOT!!!!

Lisha...PARTY GIRL!!!! Bubbly bubbly personality

Leslie....darling darling darling!!!!! She looks like she's still in High School...and hubby Zack...they are the cutest All-American couple!!!!

Dana...love this girl. She's 5+ years out and still maintaining. Looks way too young to be a grandma. And...NEVER looks bad in pics...you are so freakin' photogenic...Hate you!!

Andrea...omg...she's is sooooo cute and a sweety. And...she totally looks like Annie Duke(top Female Poker player)

Melissa...yes she got a standby flight. Tall; blonde; gorgeous...yes...HATE her too!!!

Carmel...OMG!!!! Exactly how I pictured her!!! Love the accent, GF...funny ; outgoing...so CARMEL!!!!!!

Cathy...you are FREAKIN HYSTERICAL!!!!!!! Thanks for making me laugh and you can teach me so much.
She came all the way from Jersey...with 1 (yes 1) freakin duffle bag. I on the other hand live 5 miles from the MGM and had...2 full size pieces of luggage and 2 HUGE duffle bags...and that was after consolidating on Thursday morning. Gina threatened me with an intervention!

Anne...I HEART YOU!!!!!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect roomie. Felt like I've known her FOREVER!!!!!!!! What a sweetie!!!! And remember...Victoria Secret bras are SOOOOOO worth the money. I'll email when I get a heads up on their sales!!! And thank you for worrying about me and checking up on me...you're right...normal people don't stay out gambling until 6am....BUT...turned out very productive....sweeeeet....paid for work I'm having done to my baby...the Eclipse. And you are toooo cuuuuuute...the trips are lucky to have such a wonderful mommy!!!

Hey Gina...you so know me too well(she was able to tell me what shirt I bought at Marshall Rousso ...she WASN'T even with me!) and...
...I so DO use the word FREAKIN' in EVERY SENTENCE!!!!!!!  OMG!!!!!!

The first WETEOs weekend was a huge success...hopefully the first of many annual weekends.

Happy 18 Month Surgiversary!!!

Yes, today is my 18 month surgiversary!!!! What I've accomplished in past year and half.
~Gone from XXXL to S in scrubs
~Gone from tight women's size 26 to size 10...comfortable
~Now take half of BP med. dose than when I started out.
~Started on CPAP pressure of 15; now on pressure of 8

And today I looked at myself in the mirror. Another realization:
I have no boobs or ass anymore...SERIOUSLY!!!
I am FREAKIN' teeny from the waist up(for me to say that...must be fact) then...
I have HUGE hips and gigantuous thighs...why won't they shrink????? Must step up the elliptical workouts.

Hey lower body catch up and take lessons from the upper body...I want to see the inches lessen and lessen and lessen .
