Today I got a call from Dr. Tyners office about my WLS. I was so nervous  because I thought they were going to tell me that my appointment date was canceled for next year.  When I called they tried to schedule me for 12/23 I laughed so hard  because I could not believe my ears.  I am ready to do the surgery but that was a little bit too early and I couldn't have my family drop everything on Christmas to be there with me at the hospital and I could not ruin Christmas for my kids.  I did verify that my day is still for 12/29.  I am ready but still have the same feelings.

I did it,  I lost 13 pounds in one week and I am so proud of myself.  I thought that what I was doing was not going to work but it has.  I had my post op appointment on yesterday and everything went well.  I have 7 more days left until my surgery day and I am excited and still a little nervous, but I am ready to start my new life.

Hello everyone, I am here to say that I got my date which is for December 29,2010.  I am so nervous, but I know that this is the best move that I will ever make as far as being healthier.  One question I do have which anyone can answer is what did you do to lose the weight for the 2 weeks before the surgery.  I am so scared that I will not get the 4 or 5 pounds off and they will not do the surgery.  I can say that I have stopped eating carbs and sweets and no sodas.   Can anybody else add something to help

Hello all, this is my first time on this site.  I have went thourgh all of my test and on tomorrow I have my last appointment with my surgeon.  I am so nervous, I have so many questions before the big day.  Tomorrow I will find out when I will have my surgery.  I am looking for someone to talk with because I have so many questions.  So if there is someone out there who would like to chat with me please respond to this.
