My Story

The majority of my life I've been over weight.  A few years ago a co-workers had RNY and I learned a lot from her.  She was very willing to share her story with me and point ME in the right direction so that I could begin my own journey.  I was so tired of losing the weight and regaining it + more. 

I had RNY Surgery in July 2008 and since that time I've lost 75 lbs.   I was about 8 months out before my old cravings of sweets/carbs returned.  Lately, I've fallen off the wagon and have given into those cravings which I know is a huge mistake and I am very fearful of regaining the weight and becoming my "old" self. 

To reach my goal, I need to lose another 20/25 lbs. but have seemed to have lost my motivation.  By becoming a member of ObesityHelp.com, I'm looking for friendships of those that are going through the same thing as I am OR those that are going to begin that journey.

I would love to make friendships with those that could offer advice and suggestions.
