Ok, I met Dr Long a week before my surgery. He endured my list of presurg questions. I had been warned about dry humor but not too bad. Main thing was he has done a lot of these surgeries and he do a good job on me! Only 1 week post op and would recommend him to other patients.

    Choking down vitamins. Abd still sore with movement. Have not vomited :-)

week 25/ 6 months post lap RNY!!

I lost 3 pounds this past week. I got back to the gym three days this past week and did 45 mins of cardio x3 and some core, lower, and upper body strength training. That seems to keep my metabolism going. I am not really building muscle mass but keeping strength up. Hair still falling out. Passed a lot of gas this week. Not sure where that was from. I found myself holding my buns tight a couple of times at work today.....how embarrassing!! People remark about my weight loss often. I am VERY happy but will be happier when I am at goal and can start considering plastics.

Down 1.2 pounds this week. About what I expected. I only exercised 2 days and had a big dinner out Friday night. I have got to get back on my game. I don't want old habits to creep up. I have had more cravings and more hunger lately. I just need to use light foods to satisfy and avoid carbs. I had BBQ ribs on Saturday and the sauce on the ribs made me a little sick...I guess the sugar. I do avoid sugar as much as possible. I only get it in foods like this, not because I'm eating candy. So I have to pat myself on the back for that will power. I avoid bread but do have a little pasta. If I fix it myself, I use the dreamfields (hope the label is true).

Hope everyone else is doing well. My hair is still falling out.

I lost 1.8 pounds this week. I am just now noticing that my ticker changes everywhere. So the pas t4 weeks look the same. GGRRR!

Hope all are doing well. Hair still coming out. Still trying to get my exercise in. Some days very hard but I always feel better physically and emotionally if I do it.

I have reservations for Myrtle Beach in August!!! I have something to look forward to. I would like to lose 10 more pounds before I go. I think I can I think I can!!
