ok, so far so good.
on January 6, 2011 10:02 pm
so, here we are, 4 days later. i got weighed at work on monday, and it was actually 263. this morning i weighed myself at work (same scale) today and i'm already down to 257.  i've been on mostly a liquid diet since i wrote the last time. we do put vegetables in soups and fruits in the protein shakes. i can't kick my lowfat popcorn habit at night, but i'm down to 1 bag every 4 days. that's not too terrible i guess, but by the 22nd of january, i want to end that habit. i've given up cigarettes (7 months) and soda and caffeine and i'm hopeful about the rest of it!

i went to a zumba class twice this week so far. on saturday i'm going to start the p90x again - my surgeon wants me to be able to do 1 hour of aerobic exercise a day before the surgery and i am already there. i think that's going to help me get this last 15 pounds i need to get rid of. the surgeon actually doesn't want me to be over what i was when i met him, so that means another 7 to satisfy him. but to satisfy ME i would like to be 240 or 245. anything in between would be FANTASTIC to go into surgery with.

i am taking the girls to do the zumba with me on monday and tuesday evenings. they are 17 and 19 and barely break a sweat. that's good that they are in that good a shape! i sweat a ton, but at least i made it through the whole class!

i'm having 3 or 4 protein shakes a day (1 scoop) with bananas or strawberries or bananas and low fat peanut butter in them. lunch at work is usually soup with vegetables along with a shake. i drink 75 oz of water a day. i'm taking centrum with minerals, calcium, d, b1, b6, b12, betacarotene, and vitamin c. can anyone think of anything else i should have?

i'm looking forward to some comments or some people adding me as a friend.

thanks for listening to my rants.
