Surgeon Testimonial Ajay Goyal, MD, FACS Dr. Goyal gave me a great first impression. He seemed genuinely concerned, he answered all my questions, never rushing me & took his time making sure I understood every aspect of the surgery. My feelings towards the doctor & staff only got better over time. They were very helpful. I went through a difficult time after the surgery due to the day after I came home from the hospital, my mother passed away from a long-term illness. I hurt myself getting into the car on the day I buried my mother. I called the doctor's office, got an emergency appointment & went for xrays to make sure everything was ok-which it was-only a pulled muscle. The point is the quality of care is excellent. He always makes me feel that he truly cares about his patients. I feel that Dr. Goyal has the best of both worlds, he is an excellent surgeon and has an incredible bedside manner. His support group meetings every third tuesday of the month are strongly recommended by both him & his staff. I go and am always glad I did. The only unpleasant aspect of the surgery was that I was not given pain medication to go home with. I don't think the amount of pain that you are in is completely understood due to everyone having a different tolerance to pain. However, when I pulled my muscle, he did prescribe pain meds.
