July 23, 2006-1st Consult woohoo... SO FAR LUVIN IT ALL  I am given a barrage of pre op tests to do before next visit .. great stuff for anyone to have at 42 years of age ...
August 23, 2006- all tests done .ALL IS GREAT HEALTH WISE FOR SURGERY APPROVAL ...I am given OCTOBER 5, 2006 as Surgery date (yeah OK ) told all will be submitted by Aug 29(yeah ok again )
Sept 6- told another week for an answer I called GHI not sent in yet (surprised no?)
Sept 9- stuff actually submited(they were caught with pants down)
Sept 11-1st deny from GHI saying my bmi at 39.5 wasnt high enough even with 4 co morbs .. I ask to move my surgery date back for I am single and cannot jump in a weeks time from work and home to do surgery and am told no need to do that I am now wait listed I am to just get approved and whatever date I want  will be mine (once again I believed ..... STOOOPID ME )
 sept 13th I send my letters for appeal (priceless)
Sept 21- MY appeal is won and turned over I run to Dr to try and get October  19 or 17 all full I get in for the 16th 2nd case which screws up my wanting a tubal ligation for gyno needs me to be first case so yet another disapoointment ....now the fun begins .. re: opti

I leave the really bad Office of first Dr at South Nassau Hospital and got to my new surgeon Dr Spence Holover LOVE HIM and his staff is incredible  ... no pre surgery liquid diet till day before and NO OPTIFAST at $150 per week ,... woohoo and this Dr has a wonderful bedisde manner and staff as welll
no more PRADA BARBIE AND ASSOCIATES Ill explain later if someone asks re: the coordinator at the old surgeons office is an evil person  who should seriously consider another profession

I am booked and approved for November 20, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre NY ..
I am psyched

well it is NOVEMBER 28, 2006 and I am 8  days post op and feeling like a new person 

the first week was rough pain pain pain and I dont sit still so i really didnt rest till week two ill give all details soon I am going to get drains out tomorrow and ill update from the beginning 
woohooo..Drains out and feelin human again now i can start to really recover
I AM A LOSER and I LOVE IT

WELL ITS 3 WEEKS TODAY  December 11, 2006
I am down 25 lbs  in at 232 from 257 amazing  i still get twinges of pain here and there still get tired easy and still fight gettin all my water in but I am about 80% better and will go back to work Jan 2, 2007

WELL ITS 15 WEEKS MARCH 5TH 2007
i am down 55 pounds at the half way mark of 202 
when i break 200 it will be the first time in ten years i break 200 dayuuummm i feel great  I am in gym 5 days a week and doin 5 miles a night and weights 3 days a week what a ride this is yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwww

well its September 7, 2007 IM 9 1/2 months and 90 pounds gone 
forever 
size tens gettin big and I LOVE LIFE nuff said for now 
Im in gym 3-4 nights a week and LOVE MY NEW BOD
