Finally....my family doctor got my medical history done so now the wait for approval begins. I have been reading some forums and based on my insurance they are saying it only takes a couple weeks so I'm getting super stoked....

I have completed all of my appointments with my surgeon, dietician, and pysch but I'm beginning to panic just a little bit. My family doctor is taking forever to get my medical history filled out. I have now been waiting 3 months...how long can it possibly take? I renewed my insurance for the year 2009 and guess what? The age limit for bariatric procedures are being increased from 18 to 21...can things get any worse? If I don't get approved before Jan and have my surgery before then I will not be covered. I think I'm going to have my mom call the doctors office to find out what is taking so long because they never help me when I call...so the wait continues....
