Betty Jo, I've been wondering about you. I read your profile because we both have RMSCO. I am praying that you'll be in less pain soon and that your family will be there for you with the support you need! God bless. Traci

The pain goes away. Just hang in there. It won't be long before you feel good again. Everyone told me 10 days and they were right. I am 11 days post op and I am feeling pretty good. Just hang in there a little longer.

Hi everyone, this is Betty again. I went to see Bobby Jo last night and she wasn't doing very well. She was in a lot of pain. I felt so bad for her. I told her that if I could, I would rather take her pain. I was almost in tears. I felt guilty because I didn't have any pain with my surgery. Anyways, on to some better news. I just talked to her, and Dr. Cole just discharged her. Her friend is picking her up and taking her home at around 2:30 this afternoon. She said she went from 11:00 last night until 7:30 this morning without any pain meds. I am so proud of her. She said she was feeling much better today. The Lord does answer prayers. Well, I am going to talk to her tonight on the phone after she gets settled in at home and see if she is getting the help she needs from her DH. She better be. I told her I was going to have a talk with him if he doesn't help her out. I used to work with him, so I know him. Anyways, I will talk to you all later. Maybe Bobby Jo will feel up to writing all of you and letting you know how she is doing. If not, I will keep you all updated. Bye for now. Your Guardian Angel

Hi everyone, this is Bobby Jo's angel, Betty. I just wanted everyone to know how she is doing. I went to visit her in ICU today. She was pretty out of it when I got there. She was trying to tell the nurse that she wanted to get back in bed because the morphine was making her sick. So I left the room so they could get her back into bed and then I went back in. By then, she was coherent and knew who I was. I felt so bad for her, I was almost in tears. She was telling me about one of the nurses that was being mean to her yesterday. Dr. Cole had a talk with the nurse and after that, she seemed pretty mellow, according to what Bobby Jo told me. She is in a lot of pain, so please keep her in your prayers. She was going to be moved to her own room by 3:30 this afternoon. So if you would like to call her, just ask for her room. I am not sure what room number she is in, but I am going to call later to talk to her. Thank you all again for your prayers and support. God bless you all.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Bobby Jo came through the surgery just fine. I was there with her before she went in. She seemed much calmer than she was at the Support meeting on Monday night. I know she appreciates all the support and prayers that you all sent her way. May God bless you all. I am so glad I was able to be her Angel. Please keep her in your prayers. She doesn't have much support from the homefront. I will be going to see her in the morning, so I will post again on her progress. Thanks again for all the support and prayers sent her way. Betty Lewis
